- Share as much data as possible. If you don’t have anything to hide you can only help yourself by accepting all those terms + conditions, location services, and cookies. More data = better predictions.
- Change your behaviour to match the norm. If you act normally, the algorithms will predict your crime probability normally. Fit into that fat-middle of the Gaussian distribution and avoid scrutiny from police.
- Report anything even remotely suspicious. The more feedback put into the system, the better the predictions. Our American legal system provides justice for all, so don’t be afraid to report anything you think might be even remotely illegal. We track court case outcomes to improve our algorithm’s performance. The more court cases, the more data, the better the AI.
